The House of Khodays backs strength sports with Karnataka 6th State Armwrestling Championship 2026

Bengaluru, April 02, 2026: The Karnataka State Armwrestling Association (KSAA) proudly announces the successful hosting of the ​6th Karnataka State Armwrestling Championship 2026, recently held at Nexus Mall, Koramangala.

​Strength met spirit at the championship with support and sponsorship from Hercules from The House of Khodays.The championship showcased over 150 elite armwrestlers from across Karnataka, all vying for top honors and a chance to qualify for the prestigious All India National Championships set for June 2026. This event is crucial in identifying and nurturing local talent, with winners being given the opportunity to represent Karnataka on a national platform. Successful competitors at the national level will then have the chance to represent India at the World Armwrestling Championship 2026 in Japan, under the auspices of the International Armwrestling Federation. India has a proud history of strong performances in international competitions, evidenced by the impressive haul of three gold and two bronze medals at the 2025 World Championship held in Azerbaijan.

The championship was graced by the presence of key office bearers of KSAA, including President Mr. Ujjwal Mukhia, Vice President Mr. Vimal Gopinath, General Secretary Mr. Rakesh Meghani, Board Member Mr. Vijay Mane, Board Advisor Mr. MH Abid, and Team Captain Mr. Girish V Kumar.​ Senior Executive of The House of Khodays were also present and gave away the awards.

The event received enthusiastic participation from athletes and a lively audience, further emphasizing the rising popularity of armwrestling as a competitive sport in Karnataka.
