World Cup 2023: BCCI and ICC gave a blow to PCB, refused to accept this demand

The World Cup 2023 is going to be held in India, regarding which Pakistan is creating new issues everyday. The Pakistan Cricket Board has now refused to accept the demand of the BCCI and the ICC to change the venue of the ODI World Cup 2023. Now it has to be seen whether after this there will be any attempt by Pakistan to create another hurdle or not. The preparations for the World Cup are now in the final stages and the schedule can be released soon by the ICC.

There was a demand to change the venue of the match against Australia
According to media reports, PCB wants to play matches against Australia in Chennai and against Afghanistan in Bengaluru. For this, the demand to change the venue was made by the Pakistan Cricket Board. According to a sports website, ICC and BCCI have rejected this demand. Pakistan has to play a match against Australia in Bangalore and then against Afghanistan in Chennai. Pakistan had demanded to play matches against Afghanistan in Bengaluru and Australia in Chennai. Let us tell you Pakistan is creating some hurdles everyday regarding the World Cup event in India.

Schedule may be announced by ICC next week

In the meeting of ICC and BCCI, it was said that unless there is a serious crisis regarding the pitch or security, according to the rules, the venue cannot be changed. Presently there is no such situation, hence the demand of PCB has not been accepted. Let us tell you that even on organizing the Asia Cup, this tournament will be organized on the basis of hybrid model. India’s matches will be played in Sri Lanka. Pakistan had also tried to raise the issue of India’s refusal to come to Pakistan in the Asia Cup, which did not get success.
