Andy Robertson of Liverpool is being pursued by Real Madrid this summer

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti was had to move midfielder Eduardo Camavinga to left-back as a result of Ferland Mendy's injury. Ancelotti's attempt to give Camavinga a new position during his team's Champions League second-leg semifinal matchup against Manchester City failed. The Spanish powerhouses are reportedly trying to sign a left-back during the summer transfer window. A replacement left-back needs to be found as a result of Real Madrid reportedly wanting to find Mendy a new team. According to a Daily Mail article, Real Madrid is interested in signing Liverpool defender Andy Robertson at the conclusion of the current campaign. Alphonso Davies, a defender for Bayern Munich, has also been mentioned in connection with Real Madrid in the article. The Canadian international, though, has apparently been classified as a not-for-sale player by the Bavarian giants.
Andy Robertson, who is valued at €48 million by Transfermarkt, is an easy target for Real Madrid in the summer transfer window. The Los Blancos' ability to entice Anderson away from Liverpool is aided by Real Madrid's participation in the Champions League the following year. It was assumed that Anderson would be keen to finalise his transfer to the Madrid giants since Liverpool is certain to lose out on a Champions League spot for next season, but the reality has been very different. According to reports, the Scottish international, who is under contract with Liverpool until 2026, has no intention of leaving the Merseyside-based team. Since moving to Liverpool from Hull City in 2017, Robertson, 29, has won the Champions League, European Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, English Premier League, and FA Cup.
Following Trent Alexander-Arnold's switch to midfield, Andy Robertson's new position within the Liverpool squad was discussed by manager Jurgen Klopp last month. “It obviously modified the role a little. We can't keep one full-back high up on the left side and the other in the middle of the field all the time. That's challenging. Robbo must thus evaluate the circumstances in which he may intervene. He is undoubtedly a highly skilled and knowledgeable player who is aware of when we need him. Because we also required breadth and depth today, there was a little bit of a mix. When questioned about Robertson's adaption, the German head coach allegedly said, “That really depends on the moment and the scenario. It implies that sometimes he had to be high.
Real Madrid has been focused this summer on improving its midfield and offensive lineup in addition to seeking a left-back. Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, and Kylian Mbappe, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), are reportedly two players Real Madrid are considering in acquiring this summer.
