Lakshmi Manchu, a Telugu actress, about the lack of film opportunities

With roles in movies like Dongata and Gundello Godari, Lakshmi Manchu has shown her acting prowess. She has also worked as a producer and a director. As a result of one of her recent talks with a site, Lakshmi has become a hot subject of conversation. She expressed sadness in the interview over Telugu females not getting enough opportunity to perform. Why, said Lakshmi, are actors and directors unable to give Bindhu Madhavi, Niharika Konidela, Shivani Rajashekar, and Shivathmika Rajashekar opportunities? What do these actresses lack as artists, Lakshmi pondered. She claims that film producers mainly want Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada actresses instead of Telugu women. She said that in order to care for her daughter Vidya Nirvana Manchu Anand, she had quit her job as an actress in Hollywood movies. Lakshmi said that Vidya is now 9 years old, therefore she may restart her profession in Hollywood.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-63230″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-lakshmi-manchu-a-telugu-actress-about-the-lack-of-film-opportunities-d4dd83ad86-750×469.jpg” alt=”” width=”1562″ height=”977″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-lakshmi-manchu-a-telugu-actress-about-the-lack-of-film-opportunities-d4dd83ad86-750×469.jpg 750w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-lakshmi-manchu-a-telugu-actress-about-the-lack-of-film-opportunities-d4dd83ad86-1024×640.jpg 1024w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-lakshmi-manchu-a-telugu-actress-about-the-lack-of-film-opportunities-d4dd83ad86-768×480.jpg 768w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-lakshmi-manchu-a-telugu-actress-about-the-lack-of-film-opportunities-d4dd83ad86-150×94.jpg 150w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-lakshmi-manchu-a-telugu-actress-about-the-lack-of-film-opportunities-d4dd83ad86.jpg 1170w” sizes=”(max-width: 1562px) 100vw, 1562px” />

Lakshmi is now working on a few movies, including Vamsee Krishna Malla’s Agni Nakshatram. In this film, she will appear on screen with one of the renowned actors and her father, Mohan Babu. Actors in this movie include Samuthirakani, Chitra Shukla, Siddique, Viswant Duddumpudi, and director Krishna Malla. As authors, Krishna Malla and Diamond Ratna Babu are connected to Agni Nakshatram. Lakshmi said that Agni Nakshatram is the most special movie of her life in an interview with Film Companion. She said that working with her father was challenging and that when he showed up on the sets, everyone would become silent. She said, “I also refrained from speaking because he is the ‘actor Mohan Babu’ on the set and not my father.” Additionally, Lakshmi said that her father often missed his lines when they were playing in a performance together.

The post-production phase of Agni Nakshatram, supported by Manchu Entertainment and Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, is presently underway. On February 13, Lakshmi Manchu released the first trailer for this movie. She is acting like a policeman in it.

There have been more than 65,000 views of the peek.
