<p>Akanksha Dubey, a Bhojpuri actress and model who was shooting on her next movie “Laik Hoon Main Nalaik Nahin,” was discovered dead in her hotel room in Varanasi on March 26, 2023. <p>Madhu Dubey, her mother, requested the CBI investigation in a written appeal. She felt that the local police’s actions in the case, from the point at which they arrived at the site of the incident until the submission of the charge sheet, did not inspire trust. After hearing the written plea, a divisional bench made up of Justices Anjani Kumar Mishra and Vivek Kumar Singh ordered that this matter be listed five weeks from now.</p>
<p>The mother claimed in her appeal that there were several anomalies in the Uttar Pradesh Police investigation.</p>
<p>Just a few hours before to being discovered dead at the hotel, Akanksha uploaded a self-shot video to social media in which she demonstrated her belly dancing prowess to a Bhojpuri tune. Prior to her death, she reportedly went live on Instagram and was seen sobbing excessively.</p>
<p>The post-mortem report states that there were no indications of food or alcohol in Akanksha’s stomach. Her stomach was apparently discovered to have 20 cc of an unexplained brown liquid, and the mucous membrane there seemed clogged, presumably from some coercive chemicals. Her wrist had visible damage marks, according to accounts.</p>
