<p>The star Priyanka Chopra appreciates having a blended family, according to her mother Madhu Chopra. In an extract from Rashmi Uchil’s book Raising Stars, which The Indian Express published, Madhu spoke about how she offered Priyanka “so little,” yet the actress “blossomed so much.” According to Madhu Chopra, who expressed her views on the nuclear family structure, “It should be thrown out of the window,” Priyanka and her brother Siddharth Chopra “grew up with their maasi, mami, mama, and cousins.”</p>

<p>As a proud mother, Priyanka is my favorite subject to talk about. I’m really proud of my kids. I didn’t contribute much. In exchange, Priyanka has grown so much,” the book’s author, Madhu Chopra, a movie producer and medical expert, wrote.</p>
<p><strong>Regarding the nuclear family structure</strong><br />
Additionally, Madhu Chopra said, “I think the nuclear family structure should be abandoned… My children grew up with their cousins, mama, mami, and aunts and uncles. My first priority is my family, and the kids are no different. In every interview that Priyanka does, she discusses her family. Despite being a working mother throughout my life, I always made sure the kids never had time to themselves. My kids like living in a blended family. We often host family gatherings at the last minute. My spouse’s side of the family has nine children, whereas my side has nine children. The cousins come together and enjoy the best time ever. You won’t be able to distinguish between the cousin and the true sibling since they are so close. The relationship is very close. They will support one another even after I’m gone.</p>
<p><strong>Madhu feels bad about putting Priyanka in boarding school.</strong><br />
Madhu revealed the one thing she would alter about the way she raised Priyanka in a recent interview with India Today. Regarding Priyanka’s early boarding school enrollment, she said it was “not the best decision of her life.” “I wouldn’t have sent her to the boarding school,” she had said. When I think about it, I still weep, and I still feel bad. It was my responsibility to send her to a boarding school. Not the wisest choice I’ve ever made.”</p>
