<p>Karan Johar stated of the song, “Love songs are always difficult, particularly when one has a legacy to uphold. Dharma Productions’ love songs have always struck a chord with listeners all around the globe. Because Pritam Dada, Amitabh, and I were so anxious about how the song would turn out, I recall that we kept the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani love song recording to the very end. Because Dada believes it to be highly fortunate for him, we always met at our Bandra office. He had us listen to simply the melody of Tum Kya Mile during one of our sessions, and it struck a chord with me right away. I was moved by the song’s simplicity. I really like how well Amitabh used the term “Phagun” in his writing. It was like a sone pe suhaga when Arijit and Shreya added their near brilliance to the music. Tum Kya Mile is really a piece of our hearts, and I sincerely hope that it makes the same lovely connection with listeners as so many of our love songs.</p>
